Union ministers visiting Meghalaya and other North East states will now have to submit their tour reports along with their recommendations online and the DONER Ministry will analyse the recommendation before forwarding it to the respective line ministries, departments or state governments for quick action.
Union Minister of State for DONER, B L Verma today launched the MDONER Data Analytics Dashboard and Poorvottar Sampark Setu portal at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The Poorvottar Sampark Setu portal is a powerful tool designed to streamline and enhance monitoring of fortnightly visits of Union ministers to the North East.
The dashboard provides valuable insights and graphical information about state-wise, district-wise visits to the North East region by Union ministers to be used by all the stakeholders in one place.
The portal generates a curated list of ministers who can be nominated for visit to the North East in the upcoming months. This list is dynamic and takes into account several factors to streamline the visits.
After the visit, the minister can submit their tour reports along with their recommendations online. The DONER Ministry will forward the recommendations to the respective line ministries, departments and state governments for quick action, after analysing the same. The portal generates the summary report on the visits by a single click.
This initiative is set to redefine the landscape of ministerial visits, meticulously crafted to elevate their efficacy, transparency, and profound influence. Its fundamental mission is to unequivocally ensure that the benefits of Central government schemes should reach every citizen in the North East.
On the other hand, the MDONER Data Analytics Dashboard has the data of 112 schemes across 55 departments and ministries of the Central government.
This will help in data driven decision making, ease of operations, centralised monitoring, policy level decision tool and information integration. It will keep a close watch on aspirational districts in the North East, besides border districts and the most backward districts in the North East.
Creating a benchmark for key performance indicators of schemes in the North East, the dashboard will be equipped with the latest innovations in e-governance and display information across multiple departments and ministries on a single platform.
