The Meghalaya Sport Climbing and Mountaineering Association (MeSCMA) will organise state level selection trials for the forthcoming North East Zone Sport Climbing Competition 2023.
The trials for the Meghalaya team will take place on October 6-7 from 9am at the climbing wall at the 58 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC) at Happy Valley here. No TA/DA will be provided, a press release said today. The last date to register is October 4, 2023 up to 5pm.
The 58 GTC has installed a new climbing wall recently that is of national standard.
There will be three categories for selection:
Sub-Junior – 10-13 years – born between 01-01-2010 and 31-12-2013
Junior – 14-16 years – born between 01-01-2007 and 31-12-2009
Senior – 17+ years – born on 01-01-2006 or earlier
