The East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police (Traffic) has informed local taxi and auto rickshaw owners that stickers for their vehicles will be issued from October 3 to November 30, 2023.
The price of the sticker has been fixed at Rs 150 and Rs 500 for late fee.
Documents required to be produced before the office to avail the stickers are registration, insurance, fitness, MLMTU and pollution certificates, permit, trading license for non-tribal owners, professional and passenger tax, copy of EPIC or Aadhaar or any other identity cards.
Issued stickers should be pasted on the left side of the front windshield, the SP said.
