NPP MDC from Nongpoh, Balajied Rani has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of State Programme Implementation and Monitoring Committee.
Rani will enjoy the perks and facilities under Category A.
Rani is among the many MDCs from Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) who have been appointed as chairmen and vice-chairmen in various committees and commissions of the State government.
Besides, a number of former MDCs and former MLAs have also been appointed as chairmen and vice-chairmen.
