Recognising his work for the benefit of the Khasi-Jaintia and Meghalaya people as a whole over a long political career, three leaders of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) paid a visit to veteran former Chief Minister DD Lapang today.
Chief Executive Member Pyniaid Sing Syiem was accompanied by Chairman Lamphrang Blah and Deputy Chairman Charles Marngar on the occasion of District Council Day.
The KHADC trio expressed their best wishes to Lapang, who reciprocated by giving his blessing to the new KHADC executive committee.
