One man died and two were seriously injured after two bikes had a head-on collision at Chimesengre bridge in South West Garo Hills district.
The incident took place around 1 pm. Both the riders collided with each other at Chimesenggre bridge.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year old Dechrang T Sangma of Dengnakpara under Damlagre.
The injured are Jahangir (25) of Uttar Samarali, South Salmara, Assam and a pillion rider Minarul Islam (26). They are being treated at Tura CHC.
