Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong and Health and Family Welfare Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh will take part at a ‘Yoga Mahotsav’ in Dibrugarh on Friday.
This was announced by Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal, at a curtain raiser to the event today in Guwahati.
Sivsagar had hosted 2022’s Yoga Mahotsav and Sonowal said that a second successful event this year will help Assam cement its place as a yoga destination of the East.
Also expected at the event are the Chief Minister of Tripura, Deputy CM of Arunachal Pradesh, Union Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Gas and numerous state Health Ministers.
