Former Mylliem MLA Hamletson Dohling has been made an adviser to the Chief Minister, it was announced by the government today.
Dohling won the Mylliem seat in 2018 in his first foray into electoral politics and was made a cabinet minister but he could only finish third at the recent election.
He had quit the People’s Democratic Front for the CM’s National People’s Party ahead of the election and his appointment as an official adviser should placate Dohling after his rejection by the voters.
As an adviser, he has been granted the perks and facilities under Category A+, which should make his sinecure even more comfortable.
