Additional Director General of Infantry Directorate, Indian Army, Major General Rajiv Chhibber visited the 58 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC) and Assam Regimental Centre from January 27 to 28.
The visit was to review the training of the first Agniveer batches taking place in both institutions.
The general officer inspected the training activities being undertaken for the Agniveers and interacted with the first batch of trainees.
During the interaction with the Agniveers he congratulated them for choosing the Indian Army as their preferred choice of service and motivated them to pursue their career path with vigour and passion to achieve higher goals for the Nation and themselves.
