Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today laid the foundation stones for a mini Secretariat, Community and Rural Development block building, Ekalavya Model Residential School and football stadium in the Pynursla area.
The Pynursla division of the Public Works Department (Roads) was also launched.
The programme was also attended by Deputy CM and local MLA Prestone Tynsong, PWD (Buildings) Minister Dasakhiatbha Lamare, C&RD Minister Hamletson Dohling and cabinet minister Lahkmen Rymbui.
The government also continued with its giveaways, handing out Rs 33.4 lakh under the FOCUS+ scheme to 668 producer households. Rs 11.36 crore was disbursed to 950 self-help groups and 80 village organisations. Under the piggery scheme, 2,000 piglets were given to 500 farmers and 100 beneficiaries were also presented with Kuroiler chickens.
