TMC national spokesperson Saket Gokhale has flagged financial irregularities of USD 79.05 million (i.e. ₹632 crores) in the Meghalaya Ecotourism Infrastructure Development Project by the government run Meghalayan Age Ltd.
These irregularities pertain to funds which have been taken as a loan from New Development Bank (NDB) by the Government of Meghalaya for the project spearheaded by Meghalayan Age Ltd. where IAS officer D Vijay Kumar is the Chairman and MD, Gokhale said.
