Additional Director General of National Cadet Corps, North Eastern Region, Shillong, Major General Bhaskar Kalita retired today after 38 years of commissioned service in the Indian Army.
An alumnus of Sainik School, Goalpara, Assam and the prestigious National Defence Academy, Pune, Kalita was commissioned into the 19th Battalion of Kumaon Regiment in 1985.
As ADG of NCC in the North Eastern Region, he made an immense contribution to the betterment of NCC in the region.
