A student from Meghalaya, Damanbha Marwein was conferred with two gold medals during the sixth convocation of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Mizoram held at the Mizoram University, Tanhril, Aizawl.
Marwein scored the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for this year and secured the Postgraduate Institute Gold Medal for Master of Technology (MTech) and Postgraduate Gold Medal of Mechanical Engineering.
Marwein, son of Samborlang Myrthong and Gentry Marwein is a resident of Laitkor Shillong and is currently pursuing his PhD in Thermal Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Biplab Kumar Debnath in the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Meghalaya.
