Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma today informed that he hopes the governments of Meghalaya and Assam will be able to sit down and discuss Phase 2 of the border negotiations sometime this month with all divisional committees present.
Unsure about the dates, Sangma said that the meeting will be scheduled in the next few days.
“I’m hopeful that within this month of November we should be able to have the first round of meetings with all divisional committees present,” Sangma said today.
“Unofficially, a lot of work in the background has already started and different committees are already doing their homework and coordinating and discussions have started,” he added.
