The Confederation of Ri Bhoi People (CORP) has complained to the district administration of Ri-Bhoi over alleged digging up of roads by Jio, which has been a great inconvenience to people of the Myrdon Mawtari area.
CoRP said that Jio be made to repair the roads immediately. The company reportedly dug up the roads to lay fibre optic cables but has not repaired them even after being reminded of the issue by CoRP.
However, the pressure group was also left feeling snubbed by the Deputy Commissioner, who, CoRP claims, passed them off to the Additional DC to receive the complaint.
