Christian leaders have expressed shock and dismay at the acts of vandalism and desecration of a historic church in Darma, North Garo Hills and have called on authorities to take action against perpetrators of the crime.
The leaders under the Khasi Jaiñtia Christian Leaders Forum (KJCLF) in a statement here today said that such unthoughtful and disruptive acts would lead to uncalled for frictions in the society.
The leaders have also conveyed a message of support and togetherness to the affected believers, parishioners and leaders of the Church.
