There has been a slight shuffling of dignitaries who will hoist the national flag at Independence Day celebrations at four locations in the state.
In partial modification of the original schedule, James PK Sangma will now be the chief guest at the function in Ampati and Marcuise N Marak at Williamnagar.
Also swapping locations are Hamlet Dohling and Dasakhiatbha Lamare. Dohling will now be at the Nongpoh programme and Lamare at Jowai.
No reason for the changes was given in the government press release.
