The Trinamool Congress’ Students Union (TMSU) plans on doing more to raise the issues concerning people with disabilities (PWDs).
“We believe in upliftment of everyone, including the PWDs,” TMSU state president Banshailang Pyngrope said.
He also said that as employment opportunities for the youth are poor in the state and country, the union will speak out on all these issues.
TMSU East Khasi Hills president Waiki Snaitang, who is disabled, also spoke about the problem faced by the PWD community.
