The Dorbar Shnong of Lumshatsngi Kench’s Trace, in collaboration with the Excise Department, jointly seized a cache of country made liquor and IMFL during a surprise raid on May 11 from certain households in the vicinity of the old Home Guards ground and action has been taken against the perpetrators by the concerned authority.
The Dorbar Shnong also issued a strong warning to habitual offenders of all kinds of substance abuse as it has “shattered families and affected the peace and tranquility of the society at large,” a press release said today.
