Local residents, church leaders and organisations came together to repair the giant Presbyterian Church assembly pandal that was damaged in a storm recently at Umroi Mada, Ri-Bhoi.
The pandal had been set up for this weekend’s assembly. Several homes had also been damaged in the storm on Tuesday night. Ever Pynrope, one of the church leaders of the Umroi Presbyterian Church, expressed his gratitude to all the residents and others who have collectively helped repair the damaged pandal so that the assembly can go ahead.
