Geetali Club held its biennial general body meeting here today morning where new office bearers were elected.
A presentation of the general secretary’s report for 2018-2022 and submission of audited accounts report by the treasurer were made.
New office bearers were then elected for the 2022-24 period.
The president is Santosh Kumar Das, vice-presidents CA Sudip Purkayastha, Bishwarup Choudhary and Bikash Kar and general secretary Ganapada Ghosh, cultural secretary Vijaylakshmi Dey, sports secretary Jayanta Das, social and liaison secretary Pankaj Deb, assistant general secretary Abhijit Deb Roy, treasurer Dipali Purkayastha and auditor Ganapati Dhar.
The 12 executive members are Dr PS Choudhary, Dr Rajat Tarat, Biman Talukdar, Subinoy Dey, Sudip Dutta Choudhary, Subrata Purkayastha, Subhash Paul, Pijush Kanti Das, Subhendu Dey, Sutapa Choudhary, Indira Deb and Chiranjit Acharjee.
