The Meghalaya State Commission for Women (MSCW) inspected the 181 women’s helpline office in Lachumiere and the Iohlynti One-Stop Centre at Ganesh Das Hospital here.
Chairperson of the MSCW, Phidalia Toi, along with the Secretary and members, met the employees and discussed and shared ideas on how to further strengthen the functioning of these branches to protect women who are the victims of abuse and in need of help.
The commission will submit its report of the meeting to the state government.
