The Pedaldoba unit of the Garoland State Movement Committee and other groups have demanded an inquiry and action against the headmaster of a school after 15 students were unable to sit for the ongoing SSLC exams.
The headmaster of Rengsinpara Secondary School, Suresh Newar, and a staff member, Vijoy Chettry, were, the GSMC claimed, careless as they did not issue admit cards to the 15 students for the exams, which began yesterday.
The GSMC wants the authorities to allow the students to sit the exams they might have missed because of the school’s “negligence”.
