As a mark of respect for the late Rowell Lyngdoh, long time MLA for Mawkyrwat, all government offices in South West Khasi Hills will be closed on Tuesday.
This was informed by Deputy Commissioner Caramai Kharkongor today. Lyngdoh, who represented Mawkyrwat since Meghalaya was created in 1972, passed away yesterday in Shillong at the age of 86.
