Editor,
The recent enigmatic statements from W R Kharlukhi, the MP of Rajya Sabha from NPP that a so and so party is sinking or has sunk seems quite hollow and for him to compare different political parties with the NPP is childish.
Every party is bound by its own ideology and methodology and so are its party members. However, comparing one party with another is akin to blowing in the wind.
The NPP is no less a saint and I term it as a party of ‘Holy Sinners’ (Nongpop Bakhuid) and we all know the “sins” of the MDA coalition.
Ironically the regional parties appear to be “sinless sinners”. Not a strong protest has ever come out from them be it the falling standards of education, failing economy, unemployment issues, failing health sector and other things.
When we have a myopic government at the helm I guess the blame goes to the voters and not to the elected. The political posturing concerning State matters requires a proper dissection methodology and not rhetoric politics.
