The Director of Arts and Culture invites applications from renowned scholars who are interested to take up research oriented documentation works under North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur, in the fields of folk and tribal music and dances of Meghalaya and vanishing art forms of the North East.
Applicants should be Indian citizens and indigenous inhabitants of the concerned state. The selection of the project proposals will be finalized by a panel of experts constituted by the NEZCC.

The NEZCC Dimapur has also invited applications for availing the Guru Shishya Parampara Scheme for 2021-2022. Candidates should be between in the 45-75 age group, with a thorough knowledge for imparting training in any cultural field of the region, i.e., folk dance/songs, bamboo/cane/wood craft, folk theatre, woodcraft, mask making, etc, with emphasis on dying and vanishing art forms of the region.
Applications along with bio-data and supporting documents should be submitted to the Directorate of Arts and Culture, State Central Library complex, Shillong, on or before February 21, 2022.
