South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai inaugurated the newly constructed RCC water pump project and laying of pumping main pipeline for additional water supply to the residents of Lumdorbar, Lumsohphoh, Mynsain and Upper Lumparing area, from Wahrisa source.
The project was sanctioned under a Public Health Engineering scheme in 2017-18 for an amount of Rs 53 lakh.
The Monitoring Cum Implementation Committee of South Shillong in collaboration with the dorbar shnong Upper Lumparing, PHE Department and Shillong Municipal Board organized the inauguration function for the project yesterday.
