Mawryngkneng NPP MLA, Pyniaid Sing Syiem has been appointed government deputy chief whip.
An appointment notification was released by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly today. Syiem will be given the status of a minister will all facilities admissible to a minister of state under section 60 of the Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya (Member’s Salaries and Allowances) Act, 1972 as amended by the Meghalaya, Act 10 of 1991.
