A business meet and awareness campaign to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav week was organised by the North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd (NEDFi) Shillong branch today for entrepreneurs.
The objective of the campaign is to create awareness on the different loan schemes provided by the corporation and to educate and inform entrepreneurs about the mentoring service provided by NEDFi through its Business Facilitation Centre.
The programme which was held at the conference hall of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides in Laban was attended by entrepreneurs based in East Khasi Hills district.
NEDFI, Shillong branch manager, Pynkynmawlang Rymmai informed entrepreneurs about the various project profiles prepared by the corporation according to the potential of each individual state in the North East to help budding entrepreneurs in their business ideation.
The entrepreneurs were also briefed about the North East Venture Fund and the prospects of availing the venture capital fund by start-ups from Meghalaya.
East Khasi Hills District Commerce & Industries Centre (DCIC) general manager, S Majaw, functional manager, L. Khongrymmai and Medon Pariat, Ex MD, MEHHDC and Ex COO, MSSDS attended the awareness campaign.
