Prices of petrol and diesel today rallied to their highest ever levels across the country, as they were hiked again by 35 paise a litre.
In Meghalaya, the price of petrol rose to its highest-ever level of Rs 101.26 a litre. The price of diesel has jumped to Rs 93.95 a litre.
The prices of petrol and diesel remained static on October 18 and 19.
Fuel prices however, had risen for four straight days by 35 paise per litre each before (October 13-16). There was no change in rates on October 12 and 13.
