North Eastern Development Finance Corporation (NEDFi), a public financial institution, contributed Rs 9 lakh towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund today.
The funds were presented to Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma at his office by NEDFi branch manager P Rymmai.
The donation was made as part of NEDFi’s corporate social responsibility scheme. The corporation has adopted the “Mission Oxygen” programme to support the cause for upgrading oxygen infrastructure in all eight North East states.
Under this initiative, the corporation has also sanctioned Rs 2 lakh each to three private hospitals in Shillong.
