Following a disappointing meeting between pro-Inner Line Permit pressure groups and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, reports of stray incidents were reported from around Ri-Bhoi.
In the Umsning area, tyres were burnt in the middle of GS Road yesterday night.
Ri-Bhoi Superintendent of Police N Lamare said that the authorities will investigate the incident and maintain strict vigilance.
