In view of the ongoing vaccination drive against Covid-19, the Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi has directed all magistrates, Incident Commanders, police, etc in the district to ensure that measures are taken to prevent any activity which hinders the vaccination process, such as rumour-spreading, speeches against vaccination, spreading false information, etc. Those found to be committing such offences will face legal measures.
