Nurses in NEIGRIHMS and elsewhere have paid tribute to a colleague who died due to Covid-19 yesterday.
Badaphun Rapsang (28), of Nongbsap, was a nurse in the obstetrics and gynaecology department at NEIGRIHMS. She passed away yesterday evening at Dr H Gordon Roberts Hospital in Jaiaw here of Covid-19 pneumonia.
The NEIGRIHMS unit of the Trained Nurses Association of India offered their condolences to the bereaved family today.
Health workers are at particular risk of contracting Covid-19, given their profession. As many as 15 tested positive across Meghalaya today.
