Chief Minister and NPP Chief Conrad K Sangma along with 15 elected MDCs of GHADC called on Governor Satyapal Malik at Raj Bhavan to stake claim to form the new executive committee on Saturday.
The MDCs have grouped together as – Garo Hills Democratic Coalition (GHDC).
The coalition comprises of 11 NPP MDCs, three independents and one GNC MDC.
The Chairman of the new EC in GHADC will be Rakesh A Sangma, while CEM will be Benedict Marak and Dy CEM Nikman Marak.
The election for Chairman will be held on Monday.
