The community hall at Lumshyiap under Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah MDC Constituency was remodeled through the Excluded Area Scheme 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 of the MDC of the constituency Pynshngain N. Syiem.
The beautification project including construction of public toilet and stalls at the community hall complex was inaugurated by Syiem yesterday at a special function chaired by Lumshyiap headman P Khongdup.
Also present were former minister James Marvin Pariat, former Lumshyiap headman K R Syiem, Lumshyiap secretary K P Phawa, deputy headman D Pathaw among others.
In his speech, Syiem said that he was keen to bring more development to the constituency. He also that the beautification project was part of his effort to fulfill the aspiration of the people of Lumshyiap.
Syiem also assured to work together with all dorbar shnong in the constituency in terms of developmental initiatives.
