A review meeting and site visit was done by Additional Director General of Police, Idashisha Nongrang IPS today at Williamnagar police Reserve and Samgong police land in the presence of Superintendent of Police (SP) of East Garo Hills and Commandant of 5th MLP Battalion.
Several issues relating to administrative matters, law and order and grievances were discussed during her visit. Review was done on matters regarding the pandemic and functioning of the District Health and Hygiene committee.
The District SP had recently moved the Police Department and the State government for construction of plan SP office at existing Police Reserve land so that Police Reserve can be shifted to Samgong police land.
