Shillong, Sep 16 : The Meghalaya & Greater Shillong Progressive Hawkers & Street Vendors Association (MGSPHSVA) participated in a national-level online training of hawkers and hawker
associations, which was organised by the National Association
of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) today.
The programme covered subjects about the safe operation of vending activities so that both the hawkers and their customers are kept safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Five Meghalaya representatives received training which they can then pass on to all the other 1,500-strong MGSPHSVA.
