Shillong, Sep 26: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Jaintia Hills, on Friday launched an awareness video on Aadhaar seeding and e-KYC for NFSA beneficiaries at Khliehriat.
Deputy Commissioner Manish Kumar launched the video in the presence of officials, wholesale and FPS dealers.
Kumar termed it one of the best awareness videos among districts and said Aadhaar seeding and e-KYC is mandatory under NFSA and must be completed on time to ensure transparency and delivery of benefits.
He urged dealers and staff to intensify efforts to meet targets.
The video is an initiative of the DC (Supply), East Jaintia Hills, with the Directorate of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs.
