Shillong, Aug 31: The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival, 2026 will be held on November 20-21 at a new permanent venue – the New Shillong Highland Grounds in New Shillong, organisers announced today.
The festival moves to the new dedicated ground allocated by the State government, envisioned as a permanent destination for large-scale festivals and concerts.
Three international headliners have been announced in the first wave – American R&B star Khalid, hip-hop artist Swae Lee, and pop-punk band Boys Like Girls. Two more headliners will be announced soon.
The announcement comes after a successful 2025 edition featuring Jason Derulo, The Script, Tyga, Diplo, Nora Fatehi and Aqua.
Organisers said the new ground will have multiple entry and exit points, parking facilities and a traffic management plan.
Tickets will go on sale from September 4, with single-day tickets starting at Rs 2,500 inclusive of taxes at the Rockski website.
