Shillong, Jun 11: The 84th State Executive Committee meeting of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides was held here today.
Commissioner and Secretary Vijay Kumar Mantri was formally presented with the warrant of appointment as the State Chief Commissioner of the Meghalaya Bharat Scouts and Guides. The newly-appointed State Commissioner (Guides), Cathleen Pyngrope, and State Commissioner (Adult Resources) Wiless Gayang, also received their respective warrants.
The committee deliberated on various subjects, with a focus on resolutions and strategies to bolster the Scouts and Guides movement’s outreach and effectiveness in benefitting the youth of Meghalaya.
