Shillong, Jun 3: The East Khasi Hills District Magistrate has issued an order today declaring State Convention Centre to be no flying zones during the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to the state capital.
Operation of drones for photography or any other purposes is prohibited over a radius of 3 km from the State Convention Centre from June 3 to June 5.
The order has been issued in view of the 73rd Plenary of the North Eastern Council meeting where many VVIPs and dignitaries are attending.
