Shillong, Mar 26: Aimed at fostering dialogue, leadership, and civic participation among the youth, the My Bharat Meghalaya will be organising the state level edition of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament Festival on Saturday.
The Meghalaya edition is set to unfold in a vibrant atmosphere, with the state’s youth engaging in critical discussions impacting their communities and the country.
The event to be held at the the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Annexe Hall in Rilbong will be attended by youth leaders and aspiring change-makers from various backgrounds.
The festival aims to provide a platform where young minds can express their thoughts and engage with pressing issues facing the society.
Participants will showcase their oratory skills and perspectives on the theme, “Union Budget 2026: Strengthening the Indian Youth’s Path towards Viksit Bharat 2047.”
The top three winners will earn the opportunity to represent Meghalaya at the national level youth parliament, scheduled to be held next month in New Delhi.
