Shillong, Feb 19: West Jaintia Hills police are on the lookout for one Elias Shylla, an accused in a POCSO case who is absconding.
Shylla (22) is the son of Meris Shylla and a resident of Lumlakhiat village. He has been absconding for a “considerable period” and has failed to appear before the court to answer to the charges against him, police said in a release today.
Shylla is described as having an oval face, black hair, is of a swarthy complexion and is approximately 5 feet 2 inches tall.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is requested to immediately inform the Women Police Station of West Jaintia Hills or their nearest police station.
