Nongpoh, Feb 8: While Sundays are a day of rest for most people, the police remain on duty to ensure public safety. Today the Ri-Bhoi police were seen conducting checks along the highways, focusing on bikers and scooter riders to curb rash driving and over-speeding.
The drive aims to prevent accidents and protect the lives of road users. Police officials have urged citizens to follow traffic rules, ride responsibly and cooperate with enforcement efforts to help keep the roads safe for everyone.
