Shillong, Dec 14: A 15-member contingent from the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association (AMKA) is representing the state at the 69th School Games Federation of India’s U-14 Karate Championship in Indore.
The team, which departed Shillong on Thursday, is led by Donboklang Lyngdoh, Mingson Rymbai, Barisha Kharbani and Sharai Nongneng Shanpru. The karate championship began today and will run until December 19.
In a press release today, AMKA thanked the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs for financial support and wished the team the best of luck.
