Shillong, Aug 27: The Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF), East Khasi Hills apprehended a drug peddler and seized 9.94 grams of heroin from his possession.
The person identified as Rohit Baruah (30) of Dhobighat, Laban was arrested during an operation near Namghar Laban on Tuesday.
The drug stored in a soap box was seized by the team.
A case under the NDPS Act has been registered and investigation is on.
