A 4-year-old girl was charred to death in a devastating house fire in Sahsniang-B village under West Jaiñtia Hills last night.
The victim has been identified Elisha Iakai. Her 11-year-old sister, Glorify Iakai managed to escape the raging blaze.
According to reports, the fire Brigade and police from Raliang rushed to control the fire but by the time they arrived, the fire had already engulfed the house.
