The Anti-Narcotic Task Force in East Khasi Hills arrested four persons from Umshyrpi Bridge, here and seized 46.42 gms of heroin.
Police said the arrested persons had packed the drug in 41 vials. Four mobile phones, a brown colour leather sling bag, syringe, black plastic bag, four empty vials and a vehicle bearing registration number ML 05 D 9905 were seized from their possession.
Police said a case has been registered under the NDPS Act.
