The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has declared four days of dry days in all areas under Sohiong Assembly constituency in relation to the delayed election there.
In a notification today, SC Sadhu said that there will be dry days on May 8-9 in the run-up to the election, election day on May 10 and counting day May 13.
The election in Sohiong could not be held along with the rest of the state due to the death of candidate and former legislator HDR Lyngdoh just before the February 27 polling day.
